Ichi: I think it was about 29 years old.It's quite slow.The school called "Palette Club School" was once taught by Dr. Anzai Mizumaru, Makoto Wada, and Osamu Harada.I couldn't only take the lecture from Dr. Anzai Mizumaru -sensei, but the existence of these three was really big.

Ii: I think that Mr. Anzai Mizumaru and Makoto Wada are strongly influenced by overseas.I feel that it sublimated it in Japan.It has a lovely, a little laughing when you look at it, and it makes your heart rich.I like that kind of place.

-Certainly, there is a unique touch.

Ii: It's a clear and refreshing flat line, but there's a loneliness and coolness.But do you feel the casualness of an adult who never looks cool?You really have emotions.

-What kind of ideas can I proceed with the idea when producing?

Ii: I just like fantasy.I want to pursue something that is not in reality.When expressing it as an illustration, the dialogue is established by incorporating a real motif and creating a point of contact between the recipient and the world.

Ichi: However, there is a little discomfort when claiming to be an illustrator.I think that drawing "pictures" and drawing "illustrations" are different in myself.

-What does that mean?

Iii: Is "illustration" a more clear purpose?For example, you think about the motif according to the request of the person who requested it.I think that the character must have a smile or the color is better, so I think it is different from "drawing".I wonder if the picture is an act of creating more free and inconvenient constraints.Both are really fun.

-Is it an illustration that draws voluntarily, is it requested and drawn?

Hello: It's difficult, but it's a little different.It's a sensory way, but the glue is different.In extreme cases, it is a picture that you can freely draw colors and interesting motifs that you do not have to understand, and that you can freely draw an interesting motif that you are beautiful.

I have the pleasure of drawing in the restrictions, but the illustration is a feeling of snuggling with existing things.I seek what I haven't seen yet.So the kind of excitement is different.

―I've done what you like, but have you ever disliked drawing illustrations?

Ii: Well, I guess there are almost no.There was a time when I felt a dilemma like "this kind of expression is useless" or "I have to do this for requests", but now my senses and the sense of society are getting closer, so the distance there.Is almost gone.So you may rarely be disgusted.

-What do you feel most joyful when you do this job?

For example, during this time, I drew a cover illustration of a soccer magazine, but I drew a small "ants" at the end.It wasn't in the request, but I thought it was interesting.I laughed myself while drawing (laughs).

-What kind of game do you play?

Ii: I'm playing a PC game called "Stardew Valley" and "Rimworld".Drawing a picture is usually like an escape from reality, but it's a job, so it's a mysterious loop that plays a game with that escape (laughs).

-The continued escape from reality is the key to creation (laughs).Did you have any change in your life in Corona's evil?

I usually draw while looking at the screen of the computer using a tablet at hand, but Huawei MatePad 11 can be drawn directly on a liquid crystal pen tablet, so it was close to the feeling of drawing on paper.There was a sense of live than usual.Even if the line protrudes, it seems that the place to correct usually becomes a taste.

-It's like a hand -drawn and digital.

Ii: That's like that.This illustration was proceeded without draft.Anyway, I've always liked round things.I've been addicted to the babies, especially recently (laughs).

-Itake your family.How is it comfortable to draw?

Ikai: The feeling of a pen hitting the screen and the smooth feel when drawing a line was pleasant.

Also, I thought it might be an advantage that the LCD pen tablet could be drawn while turning the body.In a personal computer, for example, in the case of a character facing sideways, I rotate the illustration or tilt my head (laughs), but if it is a tablet, I can draw the terminal as it is, so I also draw it on paper.It can be close to your senses.

-Do you have anything you want to do in the future or what you want to challenge?

Ii: First of all, I hope that you can draw a picture book and develop your own character goods.

I don't think Illustrations can create something new, including the method and the way of expressing, so that the ancestors have already exceeded it.

So, I'm thinking about what if I create a character and put it out as a three -dimensional model, I can establish originality.I want to be a creator who can make things independently while doing the work I got.
