On March 22, Sakura Internet announced the server rack security system electronic lock controller "RMS-EL128" jointly developed with Tokyo Electron Device Nagasaki. Based on the needs and ideas born from the data center operation work of Sakura Internet, it is said that it was realized by joint development with Tokyo Electron Device Nagasaki, which provides one-stop support for contract development, trial production, and mass production of various electronic devices with digital technology. .. Conventional electronic lock systems for data centers generally unlock about 20 to 30 racks at a time, or specify an unlock rack using a control panel, etc., or newly install existing products. It was supposed to be installed in the rack to be installed, and it was a high hurdle to install it in the existing rack.
RMS-EL128 can securely unlock the server rack individually with NFC with the electronic lock handle. Two methods, FeliCa and Mifare, are used for card key communication, which can be shared with the entry / exit management system. It consists of a cloud server that builds a management system, a master unit (2 units) that connects to the cloud server, and a slave unit (128 units) that is installed in each rack and has a card reader function and an electronic lock control function. By connecting another master unit to the end of the wiring of the machine, even if one master unit goes down due to a power failure or failure, the other master unit can control the system. Information on unlocking authority is not stored in the handset with electronic lock control function, and unlocking authority is centrally managed on the cloud. Power to the slave unit is supplied from the master unit through the control communication cable, so no large-scale power supply work is required at the time of installation. By adopting an electronic lock handle compatible with various server racks, it can be attached to existing racks. The price is 660,000 yen for the master unit (RMS-EL128-M) and 59,400 yen for the slave unit (RMS-EL128-D). Tokyo Electron Device Nagasaki has started accepting orders and will start operation at some data centers of Sakura Internet from the summer of 2022.
