"Subscription service", which receives services for a certain period of time for a fee, is a subscription-type application usage method that pays a fee at regular intervals. In the past, apps offered on the App Store were basically a purchase-only type that pays the price at the time of acquisition and obtains permanent usage rights, but now many such as video / music distribution apps are offered as subscription services. ..

For subscription services subscribed to apps distributed on the App Store, open the Apple ID field (your name) in the "Settings" app and tap "Subscription" to check the current status. Subscriptions that are currently in use are displayed in the valid column, expired subscriptions are displayed in the invalid column, and you can change the contract conditions (period and service content) by tapping the valid one.

Expired subscriptions will continue to appear for some time. The exact number of days it will be displayed for how long has not been revealed, but it seems that it will continue to be displayed for about half a year.

The reason it keeps showing is that expired subscriptions can be re-registered from the same admin screen. Perhaps you've considered the convenience of being able to reactivate a subscription that you inadvertently forgot to renew with just a few taps.

By the way, even if you hide the app in the App Store settings, the subscription will continue to appear in the admin screen. The App Store doesn't even have the ability to delete / hide subscription usage history, so there's no way to hide subscriptions that you really don't want to see. I just wait for the day when it disappears someday.
